Biography

Cassandra Franco is an associate attorney at J. Gill Law Group, P.C. where she represents California employees in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment and retaliation matters. Ms. Franco also represents employees in wage and hour actions, including unpaid overtime, minimum wage violations, meal and rest period claims, failure to reimburse claims, and related claims on both an individual and class basis.

Ms. Franco began her legal career at a top workers’ compensation firm defending insurance carriers and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims filed by employees. This experience has given her great insight into the strategies and knowledge utilized during the litigation and settlement process.

Ms. Franco received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Law from Loyola University Chicago.

Prior to being admitted to the California State Bar, Ms. Franco worked as a legal extern for the Honorable Judge Anne Horelly of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and volunteered at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), a non-profit providing free legal services to children involved in immigration proceedings.

When not practicing law, Ms. Franco enjoys spending time outdoors, watching baseball games, reading and playing volleyball.
